Johnny Wells

Johnny Wells is an interdisciplinary fashion designer who believes that all great design is a passionate collaboration between artist and consumer.  Informed by a decade-long career building businesses that solve real problems with real solutions, Johnny begins with a deep understanding of the customer as a human being and takes a holistic and integrative approach to the design process, resulting in a narrative that speaks clearly through aesthetics and functionality.

 

Before graduating from Parsons School of Design, Johnny received his BA in business from the University of San Francisco and developed his keen sense of compassion as a trusted healthcare consultant and advisor, helping to build multiple technology companies from small teams to market leaders.  This human understanding underpins a deeper customer-centric design philosophy.  

 

Johnny believes the future of fashion belongs at the intersection of tradition and innovation, using both to tell a compelling story.  Merging fashion history, future trends, and sustainable practices (with a particular interest in locally produced, heritage fabrics and made-to-measure, minimum-waste construction), he is adept at mixing classic references with a forward-looking aesthetic, creating a style uniquely his own.
